Southern Japan is known for its sweet soy sauce, like this Shoyu from Heisei. Usually, however, these are mixed with simple sugars and amino acids. This soy sauce is brewed using only local and natural products: rice and wheat from Kyushu (southern Japan), red rice wine, a specialty from Kumamoto, Fundodais hometown, and Wasanbon, a traditional Japanese cane sugar from Kagawa Province.

The umami aromas of the sweet red rice wine and the minerals of the traditional sugar ensure a deep, all-encompassing aroma. A product that is also rare in Japan.
